. PRONOMBRES REFLEXIVOS
Objetivo:
distinguir
correctamente los pronombres reflexivos en inglés y su ubicación en la oración,
teniendo en cuenta su estructura, la cual hace referencia al mismo sujeto.

Ejemplos
con pronombres reflexivos:
•Yesterday
it was raining, so myy aunt put on a warm jacket to protect herself.
•Something
is wrong with that man. He’s talking to himself.
•Give yourselves
a pat on the back for a well done job .
Los pronombres
reflexivos se utilizan para indicar que la persona quien realiza la
acción es la misma que la recibe.
Los pronombres reflexivos se
utilizan en tres situaciones principales.
1. Cuando el sujeto y el objeto del
verbo son el mismo.
- I bought myself an
expensive pair of shoes
- They call themselves “The
blue angels”.
- He hurts himself.
2. Se usan como el objeto de una
preposición cuando el sujeto y el objeto son el mismo.
- I bought a present for myself.
- She did it by herself.
(She did it alone.)
- That man is talking to himself.
- He never talks about himself.
- 3. Algunas veces se usan cuando se
quiere hacer énfasis en el sujeto.
- He'll do it himself. (No one
else will help him)
- Usamos
la preposición “by” cuando realizamos algo por cuenta propia:

- I did my homework by myself.
- We can do it by ourselves.

- •Cuando
se quiere reemplazar un pronombre personal:

- A beautiful girl like yourself
should be a model. (Se reemplaza el pronombre “you”).
- Los pronombres reflexivos
siempre actúan como objetos y no como sujetos, requieren una interacción
entre el sujeto y un objeto.
- Por ejemplo:
- Because she was not hungry when
the cake was served, Angie saved herself a piece.
En las clausulas independientes, “Angie” es el sujeto y “ella misma” es un pronombre reflexivo actuando como un objeto indirecto.
